            Stockings should be at least 15", toe to heel, and do not need to be elaborate.

640    pairs of socks

            Large packages of men's tube socks are a great donation!

227    warming items

            Gloves, hats and scarves for men and women.

1329    non-perishable food items

            Canned items should have a pop-top lid.  Energy bars, trail mix and similar items

             are also great additions.  Please be mindful of expiration dates.

700    candy canes

700     pieces of fresh fruit, citrus preferred

700    individual bottled waters or fruit juices

700    notes of encouragement, Bible verses and/or corny jokes

644    shampoo, travel size

645    soaps, travel size

657     toothbrushes

000    combs or small hairbrushes (Thank you, Mrs. A!)

675    miscellaneous day brighteners

        Miscellaneous items might include a coin purse, hand lotion, a keychain flashlight, a watch,

        or similar item you take for granted.

Help the Elf is NOT a 501 (c) 3 registered non-profit.  This is a child's project and currently all energy and funds go to creating 700 bags on a yearly basis, with nothing left to pursue non-profit status.  Perhaps some day that will change, but until then, please be aware that donations will give you a great feeling, but no tax benefits.
