A portion of the 2006 bags ready to be filled.

The project is simple--provide a holiday stocking or gift bag to the homeless men and women residing in Fort Worth.  Each stocking is filled with a warming item, non-perishable foods, toiletries, fresh fruit and a Bible verse or encouraging note.  Thanks to the generosity of our Assistant Elves in 2006, each bag also contained candy, drinks and a holiday joke.

The stockings are filled solely through the kindness of ordinary people.  Elf created some fundraising projects during the year and also contributed a portion of her monies earned from household chores.
